Rewire Specialists

Electrical Circuit

Need an Electrician? Look no further

Why Rewire?

Electrical installations naturally deteriorate with age, therefore it is very important to have the installation maintained throughout it’s life span to ensure it is safe. If you are buying/selling or living in an older property it is very important for you to ensure the wiring is up to date.

We specialise in all types of rewires whether it be a complete rewire of the entire property, just the kitchen, just one circuit or even a section of one circuit that needs rewiring, we are able to carry this out professionally to the latest electrical regulations (BS7671 18th Edition). Once we complete a rewire for you, we ensure all necessary certification is issued along with building control notification.

How much does a rewire cost?

Each rewire is different and costs can vary depending on the specification you want installed, we are very competitive with our pricing and no matter what the specification you will receive the same professionalism and attention to detail at all stages.

How long does it take?

Many factors can influence the time taken to complete a rewire such as but not limited to; our access in and around the property, the type of walls in the property (brick/plasterboard), access to floor boards, whether the property will be occupied and so on. Once we have viewed the job we are able to provide a timescale to complete the works and will adhere to this at all costs, whilst never sacrificing the quality to achieve timeframes.

What is involved?

Depending on how you would like your rewire completed, whether you would want trunking mounted on the surface of the walls or if you would like cables hidden in the walls. We need to route cables from the consumer unit all around the house to the relevant electrical points. We do this by lifting floorboards and chasing walls (if you want cables hidden) then routing the cables according to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations. There can be a lot of initial disruption to the property but it is essential in making sure your property is safe and in date for many years to come. We always take a minimal disruption approach regardless and only do what is necessary and not just what is quickest and easiest for us.
