Commercial electrical work needs a different approach. We get that.

Commercial premises have stricter compliance requirements, more complex installations, and zero tolerance for downtime. We work with business owners, landlords, facilities managers, and main contractors — planning every job around your schedule, not ours.

Whether you need a full fit-out, a commercial EICR, emergency lighting installed and tested, or 3-phase power for heavy equipment — we deliver the same standard of work and documentation that commercial clients expect.

Office & retail fit-out — full electrical installation from first fix to handover

Commercial EICR — periodic inspection and testing to BS 7671

3-phase power — supply and distribution for machinery and equipment

Emergency lighting — design, installation, testing, and annual certification

The full commercial scope. Properly documented.

We handle every aspect of commercial electrical work — installation, testing, certification, and maintenance.

3-phase power installation

Design and installation of 3-phase distribution for workshops, plant rooms, or commercial kitchens — correctly specified, protected, and documented.

Emergency lighting systems

Distribution board installation

Design, supply, and installation of commercial distribution boards — correctly rated, clearly labelled, and documented with full certification.

Full documentation package

Every commercial job is closed out with a full documentation package — EIC or EICR, O&M manuals where required, and Building Regulations certification.

We work around you: All commercial work can be scheduled for evenings, weekends, or planned shutdowns to minimise disruption to your business. Speak to us when you enquire and we'll build a programme that works.

How we manage commercial electrical work, from brief to handover.

Commercial jobs require more planning than domestic — we take the time to understand your constraints, agree a programme, and deliver on it.

Out-of-hours working available: We can schedule all or part of commercial work for evenings and weekends to minimise disruption to your operations.

Brief & site survey

We meet on site, understand your requirements, review drawings and specs if available, and produce a written scope and fixed price — or an itemised schedule of rates for larger projects.

Programme & mobilise

Programme & mobilise programme aligned to your construction or fit-out schedule.

Install & test

All installation work is carried out by qualified electricians to BS 7671, with progress sign-off at first fix and second fix stages. Testing is carried out circuit by circuit.

Handover & certify

Completed work is handed over with full documentation — EIC, schedule of inspections, O&M information where required, and Building Regulations notification. Snags are closed before we leave.

Common questions about commercial electrical

Do you work out of hours to minimise disruption?

Yes. We can schedule all or part of commercial work for evenings, weekends, or planned shutdowns. Speak to us at the enquiry stage and we'll build a programme around your operational requirements.

What types of commercial premises do you cover?

We work across offices, retail units, restaurants and hospitality venues, warehouses, workshops, light industrial premises, and multi-unit residential buildings. If you're not sure whether your premises type is covered, call us and we'll confirm.

What is a commercial EICR?

A commercial EICR is a formal periodic inspection and test of a commercial electrical installation. It's required at least every 5 years in most commercial settings and is increasingly required at lease renewal or before a property transaction.

Can you install 3-phase power?

Yes. We design and install 3-phase distribution for commercial kitchens, workshops, plant rooms, and industrial machinery — from the metering point through to individual outlets and isolators. We liaise with the DNO if a new supply connection is required.

Do you cover emergency lighting testing and certification?

Yes. We carry out annual emergency lighting tests to BS 5266 and issue the required certificates. We also design and install new emergency lighting systems for both new fit-outs and upgrades to existing premises.

What documentation will I receive?

Every job is closed out with a full documentation package — Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) or EICR, schedule of inspections, any required O&M information, and Building Regulations notification where applicable.

Are you on any approved contractor lists?

Yes. We are NICEIC Approved Contractors — the industry's leading scheme for competent electricians. Our work is independently audited, and we can self-certify under Part P of the Building Regulations without requiring a separate Building Control application.

NICEIC approved electricians for homes and businesses across London, Essex and Kent.
